Image about Carmel, CA Lodging Homestead

Built in the early 1900's, The Homestead offers the quintessential Carmel experience, blending the traditional "Carmel Inn" charm with the conveniences offered by its proximity to downtown Carmel.

The 12 inviting guest rooms are located in several cottage-like buildings separated by winding stone pathways. The outdoor patio has a Carmel stone fireplace and offers a perfect spot to relax with a good book or a glass of fine wine from one of the celebrated local wineries.

Clint Eastwood purchased The Homestead in the early 2000's and renovated/remodeled it in 2004. He kept four of the rooms rustic and affordable so "everyone has the opportunity to enjoy Carmel."
